Investment Analyst Program

The CornerStone Partners Investment Analyst Program provides broad exposure to investment management for applicants that are curious, motivated, unselfish, and accountable. Analysts are involved across the investment process and have a clear path to growth and development over the course of a 3-year program. All majors are welcome to apply.

  • First Year. Initial emphasis on quantitative skill development. Analysts produce important monthly and quarterly reports. Frequent special projects are completed on an ad hoc basis and analysts participate in all meetings on investment selection and risk management.
  • Second Year. Increasing emphasis on the investment diligence process with continued emphasis on quantitative skill development. Analysts shadow and assist senior members of the investment team with important diligence and monitoring of investments.
  • Third Year. Increasing emphasis on investment selection and special projects with continued emphasis on the investment diligence process. Analysts typically focus on public investing, private investing, or portfolio management.

In addition to functional training, we support a variety of continuing education opportunities including financial support of the CFA Program.

Following the completion of the 3-year program, Analysts are well positioned to pursue a range of career paths. We work collaboratively with Analysts to identify their desired next steps and help them achieve their goals. Prior analysts have continued their careers in MBA programs, direct investing, investment management, and consumer marketing. We measure the success of our Investment Analyst Program by our Analysts enthusiasm and preparedness for the next step in their career.
