Data Analyst, Investment Operations & Risk Management Toggler

As a member of the Investment Operations and Risk Management team, the Data Analyst will be central to building and maintaining CornerStone’s investment data operating model in support of institutional-grade analytics, transparency, and scalability. This position works directly with industry-leading technology solutions and AI-assisted workflows to automate the full life cycle of investment data - from ingestion and validation through reconciliation and reporting. The successful candidate is accountable, highly attentive to detail, is naturally curious, and has a strong problem-solving orientation.
The Analyst will report to the Director of Investment Operations and Risk Management and work closely with colleagues across client accounting and reporting, manager selection, and portfolio management teams to deliver high-quality investment data and analytics for nonprofit clients who rely on their investment portfolios to fund their missions.
This is a full-time position with a starting base salary range of $75,000 - $85,000. This role will support and help shape CornerStone’s private investment program by evaluating new opportunities, monitoring existing manager relationships, and developing insights that support long-term, risk-adjusted performance. This position will work closely with members of the Investment Team, particularly the Private Team.
The ideal candidate will contribute organizationally via training and developing junior team members, strengthening diligence and monitoring processes, serving as a key internal “quarterback” for private investment workstreams, and participating meaningfully in client activities as needed.
This is a full-time position with a starting base salary range of $130,000 - $150,000. As part of CornerStone’s collaborative Client Operations & Accounting Team, the Client Reporting & Accounting Associate plays a key role in supporting nonprofit investment portfolios through performance reporting, financial analysis, and client service. This position is ideal for accounting or finance professionals who want to apply their technical accounting skills while developing expertise in investment reporting and portfolio analytics. The role provides exposure to a wide range of investment operations activities including portfolio performance analysis, private equity reporting, risk and liquidity monitoring, and investment-related audit and tax support.
The Associate will work closely with colleagues across client accounting and reporting, operations, and investment teams to deliver high-quality reporting and analytical support to nonprofit clients who rely on their investment portfolios to fund their missions.
